Welcome to The American Legion, Oregon Boys State web site. Advance program information is included below in the form of links for our pending June 20-26, 2010 "hands-on government in action" training session. The program will be hosted by the University of Oregon, providing an Oregon citizen who has just completed his junior year in high school a chance in a lifetime to work in government. The cost to sponsor a student is $300.00. Each student must pay a $25.00 registration fee upon reporting to Boys State. Fees will not be reimbursed once the program commences.

Applications to attend the 2010 session can be obtained from American Legion Post located in Oregon or by contacting the program chairman at donepperson@comcast.net. Contacting a local Chairperson at your community American Legion Post or the director is key to the application process. Application deadline for submission to the program director is May 15, 2010.
