Welcome to The American Legion, Oregon Boys State web site. Advance program information is included below in the form of links for our pending June 14-20, 2009 "hands-on government in action" training session. The program will be hosted by the University of Oregon, providing an Oregon citizen who has just completed his junior year in high school a chance in a lifetime to work in government.

Applications to attend the 2009 session can be obtained from American Legion Post located in Oregon or by contacting the program chairman at donepperson@comcast.net. Contacting a local Chairperson at your community American Legion Post or the director is key to the application process. Application deadline for submission to the program director is May 1, 2009.
